This book ripped my heart out, but I'm really hoping book 2 will heal it again.

Readers - this story is really good

This second book was a good continuation, but I really missed Elsbeth's point of view. When she had chapters, she was primarily retelling the nightmare's life.

It was quite a jump from 100% Elsbeth's pov to 85%ish Ravyn and Elm.

Though I did really enjoy Elm's story and the budding romance between him and Ioni.

The series was an incredible story.

There are so many things I love about this book.

🧜🏾‍♀️Siren lore
🧜🏾‍♀️Diverse characters
🧜🏾‍♀️Excellent plot that leaves you wondering what the heck will happen next
🧜🏾‍♀️Strong FMC
🧜🏾‍♀️Threads of romance

🌶️🌶️ There are a couple of sensual scenes. I loved them. They made me blush but are tastefully written. This book included some of the best written spice I've read from a stylistic perspective.

Read the index in the beginning that explains what the Leihani words mean. It helps get you immersed in the world without having to figure out what the words mean - though it is intuitive if you just wanna dive in.

Warning (slight spoiler): you might get a tad frustrated with the MMC in the middle. Hang in there. There's a very good explanation later. It's excellent storytelling.

A Sea of Song and Sirens is a SOLID 5 stars and I will scream that you need to read it from the rooftops.

This is one of the BEST books I've read this year. The writing is high quality, the world building is unique and fascinating, the romance hints at so much more to come.

Ahhhh! I love it.

I really enjoyed this book.

The first half has an entirely different vibe than the second, but I still devoured the book like a kid eating candy on Halloween.

If you like dragons, spicy scenes, and arranged marriage, you'll probably like this one.

I listened to the audiobook. The narrators are fantastic.

I listened to the audiobook. Both narrators were perfect, imo.

This story is so dang fun, despite some super heavy subjects. The humor had me rolling, between texting "kinky" and calling the pet their "child" and so many more.

The dark romance was delicious. My favorite is that everything was consensual. I never worried that he'd truly hurt her. I tend to struggle with this genre because of non-consent, but this BDSM masterpiece had all the super hot scenes AND she always wanted it.

This book is SPICY. Be ready for some yummy, kinky scenes, because my goodness, they're smokin' hot.

The plot kept my attention, and I really enjoyed the various threads of story going on through the book. The characters feel real because they're so well developed.

I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys kinky spicy romance. You'll love it.
