I really enjoyed this! It was dark and bizarre and had a lot of those wonderfully strange elements that really make a story stick in your memory.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 50%.
It just wasn't doing it for me. I started this immediately after The Guest and this book just feels bit too similar and also not as good.

It was pretty good. I really enjoyed meeting all the characters and getting a little hint of their lives and watching everything play out.

It was okay. I'm a little sad there wasn't more of the main mystery plot line in this one.

I had watched the movie before and loved it. Reading the book was a different experience but just as great.

It was interesting to learn about the process and designs. I only wish there was more insight into the creative process.

This was pretty great. I thought the world and characters were interesting and I'm surprised that more people aren't talking about this book.

An interesting exploration of the topic. It really made me think.

Really, an emphasis on short. I wish he actually gave more information instead of just basic facts. For a book titled Notre Dame... there's actually very little content.

I don't think I enjoyed this as much as I did the first book. Again, magic system was the best part. It was interesting to see how it developed even further in this book. I do also like the characters and they continue to make these books enjoyable. The combo of these two things, I think, made any issue I have with the plot (which was fairly predictable at times) moot, for the most part.
