This was a great adaptation on the novel. I didn't love the character designs immediately but the grew on me as I continued to read. I thought some of the visuals weren't quite strange enough for such a strange story, but overall, the illustrations really told the story a brand new way.

I really wanted to like this book. At first, the book was decent and had an interesting premise, but the heavy science and staight facts just grew dull and overwhelmed anything and everything else. The characters weren't particularly well established and weren't at all believable. By the end of the book, I felt pretty exhausted and eager to be done with it.

Fun! The art style is beautiful and the characters very lovable. It's been a while since I've found a manga that I was excited to read. I definitely want to keep reading this series.

This was really interesting. The prose was particularly well-written/translated.

Interesting story. I feel wierd about rating it and other important books like these. There were times where I liked the writing style and it seemed to help the narrative and other times where it seemed to do the opposite.

I was rereading this and it didn't strike me as good as it was when I had first read it. I think most of what turned me off was the audiobook style. It was a bit too dynamic to listen to casually and I found myself turning the volume up and down a little too frequently.

I started this and realized I was just not in the mood for it. I do want to pick it up later, when the time is right.

I tried to audiobook this but the whole production was just a little too much for me.
