DAMN. I got a little confused in the middle with all of the different POV's switching around but this was wonderful. An immaculate gothic fantasy romance. 

Incredibly unique magic that was easy to follow, beautiful world building, and characters you could easily fall in love with. And a slight twist at the end that i never would have expected!! I don't have much else to say. Read the duet. You wont regret it!!


Side note, every time they mentioned "deck" for some strange reason i just kept picturing yugiho cards 😭 like play this card to use its power, omg it made me giggle.
