Scarred by Emily McIntire

I really enjoyed this book.

The first half was sublime. The story is well laid out and the characters are engaging. Tristan and Sara each have strong voices and I enjoy their personalities.

I didn't give Scarred five stars because I felt some of the bdsm scenes didn't flow naturally and it kinda felt like some tropes were in there just to be in there. And some of the transitions between chapters felt a bit bumpy.
.
.
Overall, it's a fantastic story with hints from the Lion King sprinkled throughout. I loved it.
