As a person belonging to Kerala in India, I've started this challenge to help myself read more books this year in my mother tongue Malayalam. I'd like to understand my state and its culture more and reading Malayalam books is a way of doing so. All these years, I've only been reading English books and I think it's high time I change that and accommodate more Malayalam literature into my reading goals as well. Hence, I have decided that I will read one Malayalam book for every 5 English books I read, as I read around 50-60 books a year. You could change the frequency as per your reading goals.
