This a challenge to read queer stories (featuring a queer main character) throughout the ages set in different time-space periods.

I've split the prompts according to Wikipedia's list of time periods, I'm trying not to have a perspective that's too Western-centered but my sources are already. I am suggesting examples of known empires or events during the time period but it's not exhaustive. 

Historical fantasy is okay as long as it is based in the real world.
